Form Trips (Class Trips)

Form Trips (class trips) at Bishop Seabury Academy are an opportunity for students to bond with their grade-level peers and have fun. Trips are organized by a faculty sponsor and supported by parent drivers and chaperones. They take place on a Thursday and Friday each April. The only exception is that the eleventh graders may elect to take the time for college visits instead.

All Form Trips require a fee to cover costs. Please contact your student's grade-level sponsor or the Dean of Students with questions.
Sixth graders usually visit Spirit Lake, north of Perry, for hiking, games, and other outdoor activities; the next day they visit Kansas City.
Seventh graders travel to St. Louis, where they visit attractions such as the Arch, the City Museum, the Zoo, and stay overnight at a retreat center.
In eighth grade last year, students visited the Lake of the Ozarks and enjoyed sightseeing at Bridal Cave and Ha Ha Tonka state park.
Camping, either locally at Clinton Lake or farther afield in Missouri, is always on the agenda for ninth graders.
Omaha, including the Henry Doorly Zoo and Old Market, is the destination for tenth grade.
Juniors enjoy a day of activity close to home with a "Lock-In" overnight at Seabury.
Seniors, through their fundraising efforts in both eleventh and 12th grades, are able to enjoy a slightly longer trip to Santa Maria Island, Florida.
