Form Trips (Class Trips)

Form Trips (class trips) at Bishop Seabury Academy are an opportunity for students to bond with their grade-level peers and have fun. Trips are organized by a faculty sponsor and supported by parent drivers and chaperones. They take place on a Thursday and Friday each April. The only exception is that the eleventh graders may elect to take the time for college visits instead.

All Form Trips require a fee to cover costs. Please contact your student's grade-level sponsor or the Dean of Students with questions.
Sixth graders usually go to Power Play in Kansas City for an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch, and three hours of unlimited play, and then travel back to Lawrence for a pool party and overnight at a hotel.
Last year, seventh graders traveled to Base Camp Humboldt for an overnight of swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, obstacle courses, biking, hiking, and fun and games!
In eighth grade last year, students visited Tulsa and enjoyed sightseeing at the Tulsa Zoo and outdoor activities at the Gathering Place.
Our freshmen travel to Chicago for a few days of fun at museums, the Navy Pier, the Alder Planetarium, and other sites while exploring the Windy City!
Our sophomores travel to Omaha, to enjoy the Henry Doorly Zoo, the Kewitt Luminarium, and Old Market.
Juniors enjoy a day of activity close to home to save their funds for their senior trip to Florida.
Seniors, through their fundraising efforts in both eleventh and 12th grades, are able to enjoy a slightly longer trip to Santa Maria Island, Florida.
