Haley Bajorek joined BSA's full-time faculty in 2022 after assisting the debate team for three years. Haley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2019 and her Master of Arts in African & African American Studies and Museum Studies in 2022--both from the University of Kansas. Her experience in museum education, collegiate education, and her time with the high school debate team has framed her excitement to join the Seabury community and shaped her student-forward approach to social studies courses, including World Religions, World History, and African Studies. Haley has jumped in head-first and joined the Student Diversity Club as a faculty sponsor, coaching girls' basketball and making it a personal mission to make her advising group the home of the Pumpkin Carving Contest championship in the near future. She replaces her husband and long-time debate partner, Benton, as the debate coach and continues the tradition of bringing their sweater-wearing dog, Remy, around the school for student snuggles. When Haley is not at school, you can usually find her whipping up delicious eats or spending time with Benton playing board games, card games, and/or video games.
