Susan Massaro

Susan (Susie) Massaro is coming to Bishop Seabury in 2023 and anticipates a fun year with middle school math classes. She taught for 13 years on the island of Kauai at a school similar to Seabury. After enjoying substituting for a short time at Seabury, she was encouraged to come out of retirement to join the faculty full time. She and her husband James are new to Lawrence in 2022 and have a small farm south of town where they plan to grow fruits and vegetables and enjoy a quiet life. Most of Susie’s free time has been spent getting moved in to their new home on the property but when she does have spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family here in town, and visiting the family who live elsewhere. They have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
