Ellen Chindamo

Ellen Chindamo was with Seabury from 2003-2007 as the director of admissions and development and returned in 2019 after spending 12 years in higher education fundraising and serving as the senior director of donor relations at KU Endowment. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Kansas and is a professional jeweler. Ellen is passionate about Seabury and is a proud parent and step-parent of three Seabury alumni - Dawson ’17, Siena ’20, Sophia ’21. In her free time, she enjoys traveling (as often as possible), reading, cooking, and spending time with her children and small morkie, Harper.

Ellen says, “One of the things that I love most about Seabury is that our culture creates a community where we are a family and everyone matters to each other and is seen. Students that graduate from Seabury are strong and confident in themselves and ready to take on the world – anywhere and in anyway that they choose. They are truly ready for life.”
