Seabury Upper School Education

In the Upper School, Bishop Seabury Academy students continue to explore their potential in a caring community and become engaged leaders.  Benefiting from small class sizes, students receive individualized attention and personalized feedback from a highly qualified and experienced faculty.  Everyone is seen and heard, and students know they will be simultaneously challenged and supported.  Elective and independent study opportunities, such as the Independent Explorations Program (IExP), allow young scholars to develop passions beyond their strong core education, and Seabury students consistently perform above state and national averages on standardized and college-level tests, including Advanced Placement exams.

Outside of classes, students have many opportunities to explore who they are and become effective leaders.  We offer a full range of no-cut athletic and artistic extracurricular activities, and our community service program, which includes a senior service project, ensures that students will give back to others.  Upper School students also receive highly individualized college counseling, and graduates consistently cite their readiness for the challenges of college and adult life.  Our goal is to create skilled, confident, and passionate young citizens.
