Form trips are essentially overnight domestic trips taken by each grade during the year with faculty and parent chaperones and may involve destinations as close to home as Hutchinson, Kansas or as far away as New York or Washington, D.C. These trips are a unique aspect of Seabury culture. Students learn organizational and leadership skills in putting the trips together. Each trip is designed to include an educational component while also serving as a bonding experience for students in that grade. Trip destinations are determined at the beginning of the year, and the trips generally occur in April. Parents are asked to pay a marginal deposit, but students pay for much of their trips through light fundraising.
