Friday Letter

September 7, 2018

Dear Parents,

You should have received information about our campus expansion either at curriculum night or in the mail.  I hope you are excited about these plans and the benefits that this expansion will bring to our students and teachers.  We want to give the community some time to explore the designs, and I hope you will reach out to me if you would like to discuss any aspect of these campus improvements.  I am also happy to set up a one-on-one meeting.  We really appreciate the early support that we have received to date, and please keep sending in those pledge cards!  Your continued support is essential for us to be able to make this expansion happen.

Our sports teams are off to a great start this season, and now our debate squad will be joining the fray.  Good luck to all of our student competitors next week!

Don't forget the information night this weekend for the forthcoming spring break trip to China.  We are very excited to add this new trip to our annual rotation.

Next week is Spirit Week.  For the students, "spirit" translates to "unusual dress," and the student senate sets the dress agenda for the week.  The theme for each day's dress is as follows:

Monday: PJ Day

Tuesday: Seabury Spirit Wear

Wednesday: Pink Day

Thursday: Throwback Thursday

Friday: Freaky Friday

Ms. Czarnecki will be explaining to students the boundaries for each day.  Students who choose not to participate should come to school in normal dress code.  Shirts tucked.

We have come to the conclusion that shortened weeks like this one are, ironically, more exhausting than our regular weeks.  We are all looking forward to the weekend.

Yours respectfully,

Dr. Schawang
