Friday Letter

November 30, 2018

Dear Parents,

Our 6th and 8th graders have been busy working on their annual science fair projects.  You are invited to visit Tuesday morning at 8:10 am to walk the hallways and peruse the student work.

Mrs. Porter and Elisa Trujillo are responsible for creating the Seabury entry for the Festival of Trees, an annual program that supports the Shelter in Lawrence.  Mrs. Porter also made a wreath for the event.  The Festival of Trees auction occurs tonight at Liberty Hall, and the exhibit runs through Sunday.  I have attached pictures of our entry.

Thanks to Elisa Trujillo also for designing our school's Thanksgiving card this year!

If you haven't yet given to the Seabury Fund, now is a great time to do so.  If you make your donation by midnight tonight, you can take advantage of a $5000 matching gift--doubling your money!   Just click here: I want to be a part of the Seabury Fund Challenge!  Thank you!

The winter weather at the beginning of the week delayed our annual Christmas Tree hunt, but the seniors were finally able to procure a tree for the school on Thursday.  They did a great job decorating the tree, and I have attached pictures (Festival Tree, Festival Wreath, Seabury Tree, Seniors).

Yours respectfully,

Dr. Schawang
