Greetings and Welcome to Seabury Athletics.
At many schools, students see their athletic careers end after the sixth grade, when competition for roster spots increases, necessitating that a student athlete be very gifted or specialized and play one sport year around. That is not the case at Seabury, where we offer a large variety of extra-curricular athletic programs to a relatively small student body. This variety of choices, relatively small size, coupled with a no-cut policy allows students to participate in any activity in which they are interested. In fact, participation in extra curricular athletics is the norm and is considered part of the educational process.
I am very proud of the success and hard work of our student-athletes. I strongly believe in the power of the experiences that our students gain as members of our competitive teams. Sportsmanship, teamwork, cooperation, striving for a common goal-- these are all valuable lessons that our student athletes can apply throughout their lives.
