Application Process

 

Admissions Timeline for Grades 6 -12 for 2017-2018

 

Families may begin to submit full applications on September 19th, 2016 to enroll for the 2017-2018 school year.  Families are encouraged to apply for enrollment and for financial assistance by the priority deadlines listed below, but applications will continue to be received and reviewed on a revolving basis throughout the year until spaces are filled and the financial assistance budget is depleted.  Please click here for the online application.

 

OCTOBER 21st, November 10th OR November 11th  SEAHAWK DAYS! (8:00-3:30 pm) – SIGN UP EARLY!

These dates have been chosen to coincide with local school parent teacher conferences.

This is an opportunity for students to visit the school and be a Seahawk for a day!

Spaces for these days do fill up so please register your child for one of these dates early by signing up online at www.seaburyacademy.org, Admissions; Visiting Opportunities; Seahawk Day Registration OR calling the Director of Admissions, Leslie McCaffrey at 785-832-1717 ext 1121.

 

NOVEMBER 1st: FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATION PROCESS OPENS

New and returning families may apply for financial assistance as early as this date and should submit the application by January 15th if possible. (Please see the link for Financial Assistance on the Admissions page.)

 

NOVEMBER 18th: EARLY ENROLLMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE

This is the deadline for early decision applications, and students who are accepted will be eligible to receive a $1000 savings on tuition.  This is a substantial savings offer and will only be extended to students who enroll by November 18th

 

JANUARY 15th:  FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DEADLINE

Families are encouraged to apply for financial assistance by this date.  Families who apply for aid after this date will be offered aid on a revolving basis as it is available.  The Board of Trustees sets the financial aid budget in February, and award decisions will be made by early March.
