Admissions Schedule (2012-13)

Families may begin to submit full applications on May 1st, 2011 to enroll for the 2012-13 school year.  Families are encouraged to apply for enrollment and for financial assistance by the priority deadlines listed below, but applications will continue to be received and reviewed on a revolving basis throughout the year until spaces are filled and the financial assistance budget is depleted.

 

Families interested in applying for academic years later than 2012-13 should visit with the Admissions Director and submit an “early interest application,” which puts a student’s name on a waiting list so that a family can receive information from the school and be considered for future enrollment.

 

OCTOBER 9th: FALL OPEN HOUSE  (Sunday from 1- 4 pm)

 

OCTOBER 28th or NOVEMBER 11th   SEAHAWK DAYS! (8:00-3:30 pm) – SIGN UP EARLY!

This is an opportunity for 5th & 6th graders to visit the school and be a Seahawk for a day!

Spaces for these days do fill up so please register your child for one of these dates early by calling Director of Admissions, Jacquie Krueger at 785-832-1717 ext 121.

 


NOVEMER 18th: FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATION PROCESS BEGINS

New and returning families may apply for financial assistance as early as this date and should submit the application by January 13th if possible. (Please see the link for Financial Assistance on the Admissions page.) 

 

DECEMBER 1st: EARLY ENROLLMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE

This is the deadline for early acceptance decision, and students who are accepted will be eligible to receive the school’s early enrollment tuition discount.  (Applications received after December 1st will be considered—and accepted—on a revolving basis until the beginning of the respective school year.)

 

DECEMBER 20TH: EARLY ENROLLMENT DECISIONS ANNOUNCED

On or prior to this date, applicants who are accepted will be notified in writing and will receive an enrollment contract which must be turned in by January 10th with a corresponding deposit to reserve a space in the grade and qualify the family for the incentive discount.

 

JANUARY 10th:  EARLY DECISION CONTRACT DEADLINE

Enrollment contracts turned in by this date will reserve a student’s space in the grade and qualify a family for the early enrollment incentive discount.

 

JANUARY 13th:  FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DEADLINE

Families are encouraged to apply for financial assistance by this date.  Families who apply for aid after this date will be offered aid on a revolving basis as it is available.  The Board of Trustees sets the financial aid budget in February, and award decision will be made by early March.

 

MARCH 4th: SPRING OPEN HOUSE (Sunday from 1-4 pm)
